For added protection during the tougher tie-down jobs, our 2.5-in. black powder-coated flat hooks feature aluminum edge guards in the webbing slots. This round piece of metal is designed to prevent the strap from rubbing against the inside of the hook. The friction between them could result in some abrasive damage, so this guard helps prevent that from happening. These flat hooks are designed to easily hook onto your vehicle’s anchor points for a reliable connection.
The 2-in. x 30-ft. X-Treme ratchet strap with flat hooks and long/wide handle complies with WSTDA T-1 standards and meets or exceeds WSTDA T-4 standards.
