3-Inch by 16-Foot Double-Ply Tapered Loop Eye-to-Eye Lifting Sling

Combining light weight with heavy-duty strength, Ancra’s 3-in. x 16-ft. double-ply tapered loop eye-to-eye lifting sling is made with tough double-ply polyester webbing, which offers double the standard strength capacity as our single-ply models for vertical, choker, and basket configurations, stretches less than nylon, and resists moisture. A protective wear sleeve reduces damage that can accumulate with consistent use, while the loops have been reinforced at the bearing points to reduce wear and improve the lifespan of the sling. The eye-to-eye design with tapered loops allows for improved choke hitches for safely securing heavy-duty cargo and makes the lifting sling a great alternative to chain or wire rope.

The 3-in. x 16-ft. double-ply lifting sling complies with WSTDA WS-1-Type IV Wrapped Bearing Point Web Sling standards and includes a visible blue polyester marker thread and industry compliant WSTDA tri-lingual sewn warning tags with a permanent placard affixed to webbing. The lifting sling has the following standard capacities for the three sling variants: Vertical: 8,800 lbs; Choker: 7,000 lbs; Basket: 17,600 lbs.
